Pedro and his pet bull, Lorenzo dream of working together in a bullfighting arena, but while practicing, Lorenzo accidentally crashed into a tree, and his tooth fell out. Pedro decided to keep it forever for good luck. Sadly, Pedro's father is forced to sell Lorenzo, because they need the money to buy food. Devastated, Pedro says goodbye to Lorenzo, and never expects to see him again.

Many years pass, and they both grow up, and Pedro's first bullfight reunites him and Lorenzo. At first, they're shocked to see each other again, but they eventually continue the act, and Lorenzo pretends to have Pedro stab him to death with a sword. Pedro drags Lorenzo by his tail back into his pen, and tells him the act is over, and they stay together.
