Jackson Beck was a voice actor and radio personality who did various voices at Famous Studios. His most famous role being Bluto in the Popeye cartoons. He also provided the voice of Buzzy the Crow. Beck also provided the voice of Brutus in the early 60s made for tv Popeye cartoons. Besides his roles at Famous he was the announcer on The Adventures of Superman radio program. Beck died in 2004 aged 92 from a stroke.
