Cilly Goose is a 1944 Noveltoons cartoon directed by Seymour Kneitel.

Plot[]

A goose shows off her egg, but other animals around the farm do better than her. So she decides to paint the egg gold to attract more attention. But she gets more attention than she thought she would when the news quickly spreads around the big city. However, this newfound fame and fortune doesn't last forever, as she is forced to lay more and more golden eggs for the public. She eventually wakes up; it was all a dream. And the egg is still white and about to hatch! When the egg does hatch, the gosling is revealed to have a golden tooth! He smiles at his loving mother as the cartoon ends.
